Thanksgiving is this week! We all could list so many things we are thankful for. Read the quote below, and tell me what it means to you.
”As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”John Fitzgerald Kennedy

I think it means not just to pretend your thankful for stuff you have but to mean. One way you could show your really thankful for what you have is to help out to people that are less fortunate than you, like help out one weekend at the soup kitchen! Or if your school’s doing something like a food drive you could ask to help out or just get other people involved also you can just donate food. Thanksgiving isn’t just about food it’s about many things like what the pilgrims did. Your the best teacher Mrs.Cooper you always have blogs thet we have to thank about. That’s good because it gets our brains motivated and ready to learn! Thanks for being a great teacher! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. See you next Monday! WOW that seems a long time away! BYE!

I think that it means that materials are not important and don’t make your life better, But that having family is more important and can make a differance. Also I think that it means noting in your life is more important than your family and your friends and having material things doesn’t mean a thing.Last but not least I think that it means be thankful for your family and friends and know that materials don’t mean a thig but your friends and family mean everything. You can have a toy forever but you only have one chance to have a family.

What it means to me is that we don’t need to forget where we come from,is that we need to remember how we appreciate the things we get and the things have and even the things we want…………. We need to be respect and our family and friends………………
